It’s been a while since the last newsletter however we are now back on track with a new selection of hot topics which we hope by God’s grace to roll month after month. The theme for this year and the next is the 7seal’s and through the 7 seals which parallel the 7 churches you will see how clearly that the history of Ancient Israel is none other than modern Israel. This is Christ’s testament which has now been enforced after His death on the cross for a testament cannot be enforced until after the death of the testator. (Hebrews 9:16-17) It is through the histories that the Lord has declared the end from the beginning. This is a part of the mystery that ‘has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints’. (Colossians 1:26) This is why John is told by Christ “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks, The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”(Revelation 1:19, 20)
However before we delve fully into this mystery, we have a ‘special’ on the ‘two covenants’ to set the theme. Throughout history there have always been two classes of people, one class blindly seeking the covenant through works, the other by faith. And so “it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the TWO COVENANTS; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” {Galatians 4:22-26} See our newsletters section page for more info.
