Welcome to our question and answers section. Here you will find in-depth answers to questions which have been posed relating to the 3 angel’s message:

Q: When does probation close for SDA?

A: Probation closes first for the Seventh Day Adventist Church at the Sunday Law. However, probation is progressive, meaning as soon as the Sunday Law is enforced, from then on IF we choose NOT to worship on God’s Holy Sabbath day we will automatically receive the mark of the beast and our probation closes.

Why does it close for us first at the Sunday Law? Because much light has been given to the Seventh Day Adventist Church and it is written “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required”; Luke 12:48. Also, “For the time is come that judgment MUST begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”; 1 Pet 4:17. It is written “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein”. Rev 11:1.

Since 1844 we are the church that is being measured. Revelation 11:1 is a continuation of Revelation 10, which is about the Millerite experience. In the final two verses of Revelation 10 we are told, “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” This was in 1844, when the church experienced a bitter disappointment. Out of this disappointment, Spiritual Israel was formed, the seventh day Adventist church. The church that is being measured right this moment!

The reason why we are called Spiritual Israel is because God has twice entered into a marriage (covenant) with a denominated people. The first time was with the Israelites on Mount Sinai when God gave them the Ten Commandments and the second time was in 1844 when God entered into a marriage with the Advent people who later became the Seventh Day Adventist Church. When we compare the histories of ancient Israel and spiritual Israel we see a parallel; just as probation was a progressive and testing time in the days of Christ is exactly how it is for us today. In Matt 21:13 Christ said “My house shall be called the house of prayer” but then in Matt 28:38; Christ says “Your house is left unto you desolate” meaning that probation had closed for the Jews at that point. However, God in His love and mercy allowed the door to remain ajar and it was not until the end of the 70 weeks prophecy in AD34 at the stoning of Stephen, when Michael stood up that the Jews finally sealed their probation.

Likewise, probation closes for us first at the Sunday Law but the door of Gods love and mercy remains opened for those of the world and it is not until Daniel 11:45/12:1 when Michael stands up that probation closes entirely.

As Gods denominated people we by the power of the Holy Spirit have had since 1844 to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins in our lives.. We cannot say that Gods dealing with us has not been fair and just. The battle has commenced and will end at the Sunday Law when the two classes would have received either the Seal of God or the Mark of the beast. Every day of our lives our characters are being tried and tested for God to reveal to us what is within that we may humble ourselves and seek Him in prayer to help us overcome so that by the Sunday Law we would have formed the character we need to enable us to stand. Many believe that the battle begins at the Sunday Law but that is when it ends. Right now in time, we are in-between Daniel 11:40, part b and verse 41 but please refer to the question ‘is Daniel 11:40-45 Savational and why’ for more info.

No one knows the day or the hour of the coming of our Lord. However, He has blessed us with His Word that we may study and remain watchful that when we see the signs He has warned us of (Matthew 24:15), we should know that His coming draweth nigh.

‘The broken ranks will be filled up by those represented by Christ as coming in at the eleventh hour. There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving. The time of God’s destructive judgments is the time of mercy for those who [now] have no opportunity to learn what is truth. Tenderly will the Lord look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save, while the door is closed to those who would not enter. Large numbers will be admitted who in these last days hear the truth for the first time’. LDE, pg 182.2.

This statement clearly indicates that there are two closes of probation, at two different times just as it was for the Jewish nation. One closes first for those who have had an opportunity to learn the truth, hence, the Seventh Day Adventist Church and this takes place at the Sunday Law. We see that there is a leeway for those who did not have this opportunity, which could only mean those of the world, those who God have not blessed with the knowledge He has given to us; the eleventh hour workers.

‘There is need of a much closer study of the Word of God; ESPECIALLY should Daniel and the Revelation have attention as never before. The light that Daniel received from God was given especially for these last days’. LDE, pg 15.3.
